The Cattle Drive
Friday 24th Sept
Our final leg of the journey in the Tuk Tuk - Jodhpur to Jaisalmer. Met a young Indian guy at the petrol station who just wanted to help. He explained the pump attendant exactly what we required - 16 litres of petrol and a litre of 2 stroke oil, before dashing off to get us a funnel for future filling up from fuel containers. He then explained the best way out of town and on to the road we required, and then decided to escort us out of town so we wouldn’t get lost. A nice young guy just wanting to help. Hey, don’t knock it, it could be the start of world peace! A 300 Kilometre ride ahead of us in a Tuk that averages around 25 to 30 Kph. Straight roads, good tarmac, for the most part, but those pesky animals
