Picked our tuk-tuk up this morning at about 9 am (an hour late) and headed off to the start point in the centre of Gangtok. All the tuks were lined up, and the start was proceeded with a brass band banging out tunes, a large gathering of locals and a few Gangtok dignitaries. We were then sent off in groups of 5 down the mountain pass (also knwon as the 'road to hell')
